Annual Mustang Foundation Dinner January 30

The Mustang Foundation is holding its first annual banquet to help
raise funds to contribute to the endowment. The event will be Saturday
January, 30 with a 5:30 PM social hour and 7:00 PM dinner. These
funds are used for projects such as capital improvement, classrooms and
teaching tools, and other expenditures not routinely afforded by the
district's budget.
The Mustang Foundation was established with the Buchanan County
Community Foundation for the purpose of benefiting and supporting the
activities of the Independence Community School District now and in the
future. Foundation "Partners in Education" projects promote student
success through collaboration between all stakeholders. With the
collective effort of everyone, student learning and success can be
maximized. We are proud of the role parents, businesses, and community
members have had in the academic success of our schools. That
involvement can still be increased.
The theme this year is "Dare to Make a Difference"! The evening's
program will include desserts provided by Guest Chefs from the
community and entertainment from our high school music department.
There will be both a silent and live auction for multiple special
prizes.
Dress is business casual or think about wearing your favorite maroon
and white. Please join us for a wonderful evening and support the
Mustang Foundation Endowment Fund.
You can support the Foundation in multiple ways:
*contributing financially
*donating an item for the auction
*attending the dinner
We will recognize all donors in our program for their involvement and
