News Two Arrested on Burglary Charges Posted 26 August 2008 Two Independence men have been arrested on burglary charges for allegedly breaking into Devon's on the Dam last week.   At about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, Independence Police discovered a break-in at Devon's on the Dam in Independence. Following an investigation, law enforcement officers arrested Brent Olmstead, 18, and Christopher Belle, 22, both of Independence.   Belle and Olmstead were both charged with third degree burglary. Olmstead had earlier been discovered by police in violation of Independence's City curfew ordinance.
