Independence City Council to Meet Tonight

Members of the Independence City
Council will meet in regular session tonight, Monday, Aug. 11,
beginning at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.
The agenda for tonight's meeting includes:
Public Forum at 5:45 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance.
1. Call to Order. - and - Roll Call.
2. July Council Proceedings.
3. July Bills.
4. Consider Independence Celebrations Committee Requests for Brew-B-Q.
a) Street Closings.
b) Restricted Traffic Flow.
c) No Parking.
d) Bike Ride Cautionary Traffic Flow.
5. Consider Purchase of Property Adjacent to New Public Library.
6. Consider Eden, LLC Liquor License Renewal.
7. Consider Casey’s General Store (126 3rd Ave. S.E.) Beer Permit
Renewal.
8. City Manager’s Evaluation.
9. Council and Staff Comments. Please be Brief!
10. Adjournment.
