Lloyd Wright Exhibit Open at Cedar Rock

Cedar Rock the Walter House presents the exhibit now open to the public
"Frank Lloyd Wright in Iowa" at the Cedar Rock Visitor Center.
Cedar Rock, the Walter House, is located at Cedar Rock State Park, 2611
Quasqueton Diagonal Blvd., just east of
Independence and can be easily accessed from Highway 20 near Quasqueton.
Iowa State architectural students have created models and story boards
of Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes and buildings in Iowa which
includes:
-Lowell Walter Residence, Quasqueton
-Stockman Residence, City National Bank
and Park Inn Hotel, Mason City
-Douglas Grant Residence, Cedar Rapids
-Robert Sunday Residence, Marshalltown
-Carroll Alsop Residence and Jack Lamberson
Residence, Oskaloosa
-Dr. Paul Trier Residence, Johnston
-Delbert W. Meier Residence, Monona
-Dr. Alvin Miller Residence, Charles City
Cedar Rock State Park is open to the public from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Tuesday through Sunday. The park is closed on Mondays.
Guided tours of the home depart from the visitor center every 30
minutes. A $3.00 donation is requested per adult to help with operation
costs.
