Education at Hawkeye Center
Free GED and Adult Basic Education classes are being held at Hawkeye
Community College's Independence Center, located on Jamestown Avenue in

Bingo Every Tuesday in Independence
Bingo is held at the Buchanan County Fair Grounds every Tuesday night
at the
4-H building. It has a progressive jackpot starting $300 and 51 numbers
and reaching $600 as the numbers called progress. Early birds at 6:30
p.m.; regular session starting at 6:45. Concession available
Local Food Pantry Needs Donations
The Independence Area Food Pantry is in need of food and monetary
donations.
